ASKABLE ADULT WORKSHOP

Children and youth want informed, approachable adults who they can turn to for help navigating day-to-day stress and challenges.  This two-session training of trainers is for adults and youth who want to help adults become more “askable” and supportive for the children and youth in their lives.

An effective facilitator is a youth or adult who can hold space for adults to reflect and learn, and who can model the skills adult participants will be cultivating – building strong, trusting and affirming relationships, communicating more effectively, strengthening connections, and being a resource for the young people in their lives.  Facilitators don’t have to be experts, just people who are committed to helping adults do better at supporting youth.
