Practice of Storytelling for Liberation — Learning Intensive
with Tai Simpson,
Storyteller and Community Organizer
Join us for this four-part Learning Intensive to build and flex our muscles to champion equity and anti-oppression by nurturing storytelling in our lives. We will engage skills to tell and hold space for stories and amplify voices of BIPOC who pave our way toward collective liberation. The practice of storytelling can strengthen our work, our organizations and our movement.
WHEN: 1:00-2:30 PM EST on Oct. 21st, Nov 4th, Nov 18th and Dec 2nd
Please plan to participate in all four sessions. Space is limited. These sessions will not be recorded.
This Learning Intensive is for anyone committed to deepening anti-oppression and equity efforts who can bring their whole selves, speak from the heart, honor the stories that arise and practice deep listening.
More about the Practice of Storytelling LEARNING INTENSIVE
A story is the shortest distance between two people, but the practice of storytelling is something many of us have lost. Join us to explore and engage storytelling as an intuitive and spontaneous practice – not a performance – where listening is as important as speaking. Through stories we can strengthen interconnectedness, engender community around shared purpose and cultivate hope for a world rooted in interdependence, resilience, regeneration and collective thriving.
