2022 Data Snapshot

Our 2022 Data Snapshot reflects the unique and persistent challenges that survivors have faced in the midst of the ongoing global pandemic. Member organizations answered 19,118 hotline calls in 2022 and supported over 8,000 individuals. Advocates assisted communities and survivors with a wide range of issues including parenting, health care, employement, and legal issues.

Survivors and advocates consistently report that housing is one of the most pressing needs for victims and survivors. A lack of affordable housing creates a bottleneck in shelters and transitional housing. The Vermont Network supported 89 families to find or keep stable housing with grants totalling $103,359. Member organizations supported 2,483 individuals with housing advocacy.
